How did you first get into coaching? What has been the driver that has kept you in coaching?

Began as manager for Women's Basketball at Bradley. Coaching has been a lifelong passion that I did not realize until I began working as a manager at Bradley University.

Who has been the biggest influence in your coaching career? Why?

Every coach I have worked for over the last six years has influenced the way I coach today. I like to take bits and pieces from every coach I work with, then tailor those traits to fit my personality and style to try and become the best coach that I can be.

What has been your greatest lesson learned in coaching so far?

The greatest lesson I have learned, is that I have to be confident in my abilities. The best coaches I know are confident when teaching and delivering their messages. Those are the coaches that players respect, and are inspired by.

What has been your most memorable win?

Watching Daniel Alexander hit a game winner at Frostburg State University. He hit the shot from the exact spot that we had worked on during our workout the day before.

What is your favorite team meal?

Firehouse Subs! They have great turkey sandwiches.

Fun Fact: Tell us something about yourself that people would be surprised to know about you.

I met President Obama when he was running for Senator for Illinois. The fundraiser event was held in my parent's home.
