How did you first get into coaching? What has been the driver that has kept you in coaching?
A couple coaches that I am connected too and look up too got me into coaching and I have loved it so far. Giving back to kids and helping these kids reach their goals keeps me wanting to coach. I want to help every athlete I come across be a better player and also a better person.

Who has been your biggest influence in your coaching career? Why?
It is not just one person I came name it’s a couple of coaches. BJ McKie, Steve Smith, Antonio Reynolds-Dean , Kareem Richardson and Lucas Mckay. These are all guys who I could go to for advice if I need anything. I knew them before I got into coaching so we all have a personal relationship and I trust them to give me the right advice that I need. They are who got me into coaching and I will pick their brain always so I can become great coaches like them.

What has been your greatest lesson learned in coaching so far?
As a grad assistant I just learned to soak in every piece of information I can get from the staff and be able to do everything from on court stuff to everything off the court.

Fun Fact: Tell us something about yourself that people would be surprised to know about you.
I would say that I can speak a little French and Portuguese

As a member, what has been the most rewarding aspect/ favorite memory of Rising Coaches for you?
Just being able to connect with all these great coaches. I look forward to waking up and going to look at the Rising coaches community to watch and look what people post. It’s like I learn something different everyday. I’m glad I joined!
